We undertake aerial filming with drones for television, film and commercial productions, UK and internationally.

How long does it typically take to complete an aerial filming project?
This depends on the task and travel distances, in some instances filming may only take an hour, but other shoots last the full day or more.
What is the typical cost of an aerial filming project?
Every job is different both in terms of team size and the equipment – drones and cameras required. Typically the range is £600 to £2,200 a day (2023 prices)
Do you provide post-production services such as video editing and color grading?
We do, both on location and at our Leeds HQ.
How do you ensure the safety of people and property during aerial filming?
We strictly adhere to current rules and regulations and risk assess each job prior to conducting flights.
What is your process for obtaining necessary permissions and permits for aerial filming?
Usually, production obtains land over permissions and Aerial Picture Company obtains the necessary airspace permissions. Rarely, but sometimes, airspace permissions can involve an additional charge.
Can you provide aerial filming services in restricted areas, such as near airports or military bases?
Yes, but we must first obtain the support and permission from Air Traffic Controllers, NATS, the Military or the Police. With good planning and communication most locations are achievable.
What is the maximum altitude and flight duration for your drones?
To remain within standard regulations our altitude ceiling is 400 feet above ground level.
How do you handle poor weather conditions?

Can clients be present during the aerial filming?
Of course and we welcome this. Equally, we’re adept at working alone to direction.
How will I receive the final footage?
Either in person via a loan SSD drive, or we can send you a download links. All material is backed up after each shoot.
Do you offer any discounts or special packages for repeat clients or larger projects?
We are always happy to discuss multiple day discounts.
What is your cancellation policy for aerial filming projects?
We do not take deposits and work on trust. If we have to cancel due to bad weather we will try to rearrange an alternative date.
